Cisco gig backstage

www.vjculture.com
Backstage there is an army of workers manning the spyder screen technology and integration of the graphics.
Those projectors are Christie 16,000 lumen projectors double stacked and seamlessly screen stitched 4 across for a total of 8 DLP projectors and about 25,000 lumens hitting each section.
The screens are going to mechanically roll open and lift up to expose the screen during the five minute performance.

Coming to you live from the stage at the San Diego Convention Center.
Above are pictures of the setup we are working with.
The client is Cisco Systems. The production house is Video Applications
I'm here to provide a very intense visual experience for 5 minutes with a Drum Corps.
That's it!! It's a lot of hurry and wait but, the waiting is worth it.
In the two pics are my video suite and a shot of the stage.
My little setup is on the far left side of the picture.

Street Art in Milan

Since it was Monday all the galleries we wanted to visit were closed. So instead we walked around the city shooting street art.
Milan for a long time has been known for its design community.
We found some very interesting art. However, we had to keep our eyes on the ground. Milan has a lot of dogs, its a total status thing but, the residence of Milan don't pickup after their dogs. Poop is everywhere!!
Also, popular in Northern Italy is the Communist Party. (As seen in some of these photos).
Silvio Berlusconi, Italy's incendiary and entertaining Prime Minister said last month that he was not going to honor the 65 million Euros the country of Italy was going to reimburse Torino for hosting the games. He said he wasn't going to give those communists in the north any more money.
During the closing ceremony he was whistled at. Italians equivalent of booing.

Trip to Milan

www.vjculture.com
On our final day, Xarene and I jumped on a train and went to Milan. About an 1 and a half hour train ride.
It was Monday and not a lot is open on Monday. All the retail stores don't open on Mondays until 2 or 3:00PM.
Pictured above, the famous Duomo.
